We're looking for candidates who are energetic and excited about local food production. These positions are based in Huntington, WV. Formerly S.S. Logan Packing Company, Cavalier Meats has been producing wieners, bologna and hams for over 100 years. Cavalier Meats is a household staple for many Appalachian families.

Production Associates
Delivery Drivers
Inside Sales Represenatives

What could your workday look like as a Production Associate?

You will be working in a production facility to create regionally-loved products including hot dogs, bologna and hams. Our hours are consistent and regular with no weekend work. You must be able to lift 50 pounds and be on your feet for long periods at a time.

What could your workday look like as a Delivery Driver?

• Loading delivery trucks with Cavalier Meats products like hot dogs, bologna, hams, fresh pork and fresh beef

• Safely driving a box truck across the region with our products inside it

• Providing our customers with excellent customer service while delivering

• Providing excellent communication to our inside sales team on delivery updates

• Keeping a record of deliveries and organizing manuscripts, invoices and additional materials

Delivery Driver Requirements:

• Presentable attire, appearance and a Driver’s License are required for this position. A CDL is not required.

• Must be able to carry at least 70 pounds

What could your workday look like as an Inside Sales Representative?

• As the first point of contact for several Cavalier Meats customers, the Inside Sales Representative should be an effective oral and written communicator, personable and have excellent phone etiquette.

• Responsible for answering inbound calls, taking customer orders, and invoicing customers and taking customer payments.

• The individual should have excellent attention to detail and be accurate with order entry.

• Ability to problem solve any minor customer problems that may arise.

• Effectively communicate with drivers, accounts receivable and purchasing team about customer needs.

Inside Sales Representative Requirements:

• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills

• Must have experience working with computers
